How to Create and Identify Patients & Doctors
For Patients
A new patient is added using the patient module. The identification details for the patient is requested including personal information, address and contact details. Once created, the patient automatically gets a unique universal ID code which can be used everywhere there is an operating CHUDATS.
The patient account is highly secured and personal and can only be accessed upon the presentation and scanning of the patient’s QR code ID or when the patient freely turns on access within the patient’s panel.
However, a patient ID creator health facility admin or another consulting health facility is permitted to see patient contact details and summary or basic medical info only.
Full patient details including appointments, insurance, medical reports, lap reports, medical bills, prescriptions, notifications etc., are only seen and managed by the admin and/or assigned doctor if the patient consents to that.
After creation or adding of a new patient, the next thing to do is to issue the patient’s QR code ID card. Visit the QR Scanner menu within the settings module and access the generate ID box.
Among the list of patients you can select the patient you desire to generate the ID card. However, before considering ID generation, you need to visit the H-patient panel or you ensure that the patient knows how to use the h-panel and has at least added HC into his or her HC wallet. The generation process will notify you that an amount will be deducted from patient wallet to generate the ID card. The wallet must not be empty else the process will fail. If approved then a pdf print-out with the QR-code ID details is generated into your storage.
For Doctors
The term “h-doctor” is used to address doctors added to the system by a subscribed hospital or an approved health facility admin. They serve in double capacities determined by their controlling facility admin. While they are principally meant to make consultations for h-patients within the concerned health facility, they can also be permitted to make online consultations with m-patients if published for online consultations.
At the time of creation or adding a new h-doctor using the doctor’s module, the profile information is requested. This includes the doctor’s specialty, education, language, experience, consultation charges, and optionally a complimentary or alternative medicine (CAM) choice. The CAM provides an inclusive consideration for verified traditional medicine practitioners to fully partake and also benefit from the universal access considerations of CHUDATS. The h-doctor’s profile information also collects the about description which is saved and if doctor is published for online mobile consultations on our “Heal the Sick” mobile app, the saved description is used on the doctor’s public profile.
Though an h-doctor is considered and employee, the h-doctor’s evaluation measures are quite different from that of an ordinary employee. The h-doctor additionally has a history page that records clinical trials and clinical research.
